Summer Camp Leaders
Recreation Services has exciting jobs opportunities for energetic, motivated and skilled staff. These assignments are from June 26, 2015 to August 21, 2015. If you have experience working with children and have a background in any of the following specialties: sciences, dance, music, drama, sports, or certified lifeguard – we are looking for you!
Summer Camp Leaders are responsible for planning, developing, promoting, implementing and executing week-long, theme related activities, while ensuring a quality program is delivered in a safe environment, while working as part of a team. Up to 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with variable start and end times depending on programming, for example:8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm. Pay range $12 – $15 per hour.
Interested applicants will be required to provide a criminal record check with vulnerable sector (current within the last year) at the time of application.

I have a program idea. What is the process to get my program in the Leisure Guide?
Start by developing a clear vision for your program, including a title, program objectives, description, and requirements for space and equipment. We strongly recommend looking through our current Leisure Guide to see what kinds of classes we currently offer and how they are structured. Once you’ve got an idea, send us a proposal package, which includes filling out the ⇒Program Proposal Form COMPLETELY – and submit it along with your resume and any relevant certificates.
