Babysiting Certification Course 12‐15yrs
Canadian Safety Council.
The Babysitters Training Course provides the knowledge and skills needed to become a responsible babysitter, that will serve the students well into adulthood. The program is designed for students 12 years of age and up who are willing to dedicate 10 hours of their time to receive certification as a trained babysitter. This training course provides the most up-to-date information concerning childcare and safety. Participants will learn first aid, fire safety, child care tips, prevention and how to be a responsible babysitter. A trip to the firehall will be planned.

Fencing 7yrs +
Come try the art of fencing, an original Olympic sport. This activity is fun for boys, girls and adults of all ages and athletic ability. Participants will learn to lunge, attack and defend and use proper footwork while using an epee sword. Each lesson consists of a warm up game, foot work drills, blade work drills, and open fencing. By the end of the course, fencers will understand how to do basic attacks, defenses, foot work, and how to duel in a fencing match. No equipment necessary, just bring indoor runners and jogging pants.

Youth Triathlon Club 9‐13yrs
Triathlon fosters a balanced, whole body approach to fitness with cycling, running and swimming. With this
course focused on youth, instructor Kim Young will lead the group through all the disciplines of triathlon
training in a non-competitive and fun atmosphere. The course will end with a fun triathlon.
Participants must be able to swim 25m and have their own working multi-speed bike. A detailed schedule will be provided on the first day, come prepared to swim and run.
